Columbia Gorge ESD is comprised of five dynamic departments:
Our Administration includes the office of the superintendent, the business office and the human resources office. The administrative team, as directed by the actions and policies of the Board of Directors, provides leadership and direction to the work of the Columbia Gorge ESD.
The School Improvement Department partners with member districts to support curriculum, assessment, and professional development for the Columbia Gorge ESD area schools.
The Technology Department provides technology support to our component school districts and the individual technology plans of those districts, including but not limited to technology services, distance learning, and professional development for employees who provide those services.
The Student Services Department provides and supports programs for children with special needs, including early intervention and early childhood special education services, services for at-risk students and professional development for employees who provide those services. Student services also registers and monitors home school students in Hood River and Wasco Counties.
Special Projects provides and supports educational services for migratory and Native American students within the region.
