    Temporary Positions

    STEM Maker and Mentoring Work Study: In collaboration with the Columbia Gorge STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Math) Hub and regional partners (such as Wasco County 4-H and The Dalles Public Library), this person will develop and lead maker workshops for local K-8 students. They will assist with outreach events to build the STEM Maker and Mentoring movement in the Gorge area focusing on grades K-12.     Classified Positions

    Part-Time Bilingual Instructional Assistant in the Early Intervention/Early Childhood Special Education and Sunshine Kids Preschool Programs. Two positions are available to provide instructional assistance and support to preschool children starting with the 2018-19 school year. Bilingual in English/Spanish required.     Graduation Specialist/Recruiter in the Migrant Education Program. This individual will provide learning opportunities for students to prepare them for high school graudation and post high school transitions; provide families with education activities that support high student achievement and parent involvement strategies. Required: Bilingual in English/Spanish required and an Associate's Degree or equivalent. Two years experience in migrant education or school/community relations preferred.  Starts at $15.78 per hour.     Licensed Positions

    Speech-Language Pathologist to serve students in our Early Intervention/Early Childhood Special Education Program. Experience with students having identified problems in speech or language disorders preferred. Required: Oregon Speech Pathologist License, CCC in Speech Pathology for ASHA (or eligible to begin clinical fellowship year) or valid Oregon TSPC license with Communication Disorders endorsement. Salary range $42,351-$69,964 depending on experience. Benefits include family medical, dental, vision, life/AD&D, and long-term disability insurance coverage.
