Congratulations to the Recipients of the 2023-2024 Microgrants! 20 educators and community partners across four counties and five school districts received grant funding from the STEM Hub to support STEM-related projects and initiatives in the Gorge! This year’s microgrants are estimated to impact over 4,330 students and 148 classrooms/teachers.

Columbia Gorge STEM Hub Microgrants

STEM Hub Microgrants are awarded to fund equity-focused, STEM-related projects or initiatives that will have a lasting impact.

PreK-college teachers, administrators, and out-of-school educators may apply for this one-time grant. Grant applications will be reviewed by a selection committee using a scoring matrix aligned with the scoring criteria. (Microgrant scoring criteria here).

With support from the Oregon Department of Education, we are able to open this opportunity to any educator in Gilliam, Hood River, Wasco, Wheeler, and Sherman counties. Educators in Klickitat & Skamania (WA) counties are eligible to apply; however, priority will be given to Oregon educators.

The target range for each grant is $400-$1,000, but proposals slightly over that cap will still be considered. There are no stipulations on the number of submissions per educator.  Grant recipients will also need to complete an after-action report.

Congratulations to the 2023-2024 Microgrant Winners!
