The Dalles, Oregon – The Columbia Gorge ESD Board of Directors is pleased to announce that they have selected 3 candidates to interview for their superintendent vacancy. The candidates selected for interviews are:
Dr. Sara Johnson – Eugene, Oregon
Mrs. Dana Pederson – Bend, Oregon
Ms. Theresa Peters – The Dalles, Oregon
Interviews are scheduled to be conducted the week of April 8, 2024. Numerous stakeholder groups will have the opportunity to meet the final candidates and submit input to the board about each of them. The board intends to make their selection by April 12, 2024.
The Columbia Gorge ESD retained the services of McPherson & Jacobson, L.L.C. to assist in conducting their search. The consultants reviewed, screened, and conducted extensive background checks on 10 completed applicants. On April 1, 2024, the consultants presented the applicants to the Board of Directors and provided them detailed background information on each applicant. The board selected 3 candidates as finalists.
