Just Schools

Our Professional Book Study series allows educators, administrators, parents, and community leaders to learn together about pressing issues facing our region’s educational landscape. This community of action is a great way to deepen your knowledge, exchange ideas and practices, and build a network of leaders dedicated to improving educational outcomes for students in Alaska, Oregon, and Washington.

The books chosen for this year’s series center the experiences, creativity, and expertise of those historically underserved by our education system — including Indigenous families and communities. Participants will explore approaches to systems change and work to shift the conditions that create inequitable outcomes for students and their communities.
